Junior Section

Clacton-on-Sea Golf Club's junior section consists of nearly 60 Juniors. The Juniors take part is a wide range of Competitions throughout the year, including the Essex Golf Union Inter-Club Youth Shield, which consists of the best five junior golfers from each Club playing against each other.

Clacton on Sea Golf Club also host a Junior Open every year, organised by our Junior organiser and PGA Professional, Samuel Teer.

Junior Coaching

The junior coaching is organised and run by Samuel Teer. The coaching programme takes place on a Saturday (12-4pm) consisting of four hourly groups containing up to eight juniors per group.

The groups are arranged from beginners to single figure handicap golfers. The lessons are a mixture of swing technique and competitive games, all aiming to improve the individual - and most of all to have fun.

Clacton-on-Sea Golf Club is increasingly proud of their junior members; we offer them the best in both coaching and facilities in the hope that we develop young, courteous and ambitious golfers.
