England Golf and The Golf Foundation are trilled to confirm that Clacton on Sea Golf Club has officially been awarded Junior Hub Club status. The recognition celebrates the Clubs dedication to growing the game and creating an inspiring enviroment for young golfers.

The September Medal was played on Saturday with some great scores in all three divisions.
Division1 was won by Ryder Eden 76-11=65. Second was Jason Ranson 77-11=66 and in third place Andrew Duffin 70-1=69.
The Division 2 winner was Mick Roast 84-16=68. Ricky Hawkins was second with 82-13=69 and Mark Cockburn third with 86-16=70.
Mark James came first in Division 3 with 102-33=69. Fiona Cope was second 90-20=70 on countback from Gary Teer 91-21=70.
The winner of the Juniors September Medal was Stanley Smart with 92-27=65. Louie Brewer was second on countback with 76-7=69 from Vince Chung 84-15=69.
The ladies competition last Tuesday was the Jura Trophy . Jackie Hart was the winner with 36 points. Teresa Whiting came second with 35 points on countback from Hoon Locke.
Fiona Cope & Maxine Trill played in the Essex Golf Presidents Day at Colne Valley on Friday. They finished in third place with 38 points, narrowly missing out on second place on countback.
The Seniors played their last home Interclub match of the season against Felixstowe Ferry. With an excellent win of 8-0 this meant an overall result this year of 14.5 – 1.5.
The Seniors Weekly Challenge was won by Kevin Harkin with 43 points playing off 22. In second place was Ian Johnston with 40 points playing off 19 and third was Rod Fowler with 39 points playing off 15.
