Our Club Captain for 2018/2019 is Alfie Smith
Alfie has been a member since 2001.He has been a previous Captain of the Pheasant Pluckers.
Alfie had a very busy year as Vice Captain 2017/18 standing in for the elected Captain Jeff Sinnott who sadly passed away just a few months before he was due to take office.

Martin first came to Clacton Golf Club as a junior when his father , a former member Michael Penalver introduced him to golf.
He returned to the club as a member some seven years ago and tells us he has enjoyed every moment . Martin said 'The club has changed much , and for the better ' in his opinion.
Martin is learning the ropes from his very good friend Captain Alfie Smith and is looking forward to 2019 when he will formally take over.
